Maple 9.5.1 Q&A

Maple 9.5.1 is an all platform update available to Maple 9.5 users.

Note: Maple 9.5.2 is a more recent update that includes all of the Maple 9.5.1 changes.

  • Support for SuSE Linux® 9.1 and Mandrake Linux® 10.0
  • Higher order derivatives are now correctly displayed in standard math input and text regions
  • Improved handling of plot options for interactive plots with parameters
  • Improvements to MultivariateCalculus[ApproximateIntegration]
  • Improvements to context menus
  • Long full path file names are properly recognized by libname
  • Help file search path is properly updated when entries are removed from libname during the session on Windows
  • Improved zooming of output in Help pages
  • Correction of a Maplet problem where updating ListBox elements in a Maplet application sporadically resulted in an empty list.
  • Correction of “vector out of range” error in Optimization package
  • Improved installation of toolboxes, especially on Macintosh

Who is entitled to Maple 9.5.1?
Maple 9.5.1 is now available to all users running Maple 9.5. If your Maple 9.5 Help -> About box reads Release 9.50 you should obtain this update. If it reads Maple 9.51, then you already have the update and no further action is required.
