A least-squares fitting function that is nonlinear in its parameters is found with the Fit function in the Statistics package. Alternatively, the sum-of-squares of deviations is minimized interactively with the Optimization Assistant, and by the methods of calculus. Graphs of the data points and the least-squares function could be combined with the display command from the plots package, but are generated interactively with the Plot Builder and the Context Menu.
