Maple 2026.2

Maple 2026.2 is a maintenance update that improves Maple 2026 in several areas, including:

  • Responsiveness – resolves occasional slowdowns while typing math.
  • Numeric formatting – number formats set in the Context Panel are now reflected in the output.
  • Interrupting computations – the AI Assistant has a new interrupt button, and the interrupt button in the status bar is more reliable.
  • Accessibility – better screen reader support in Help, menus and tooltips. The context menu can be opened from the keyboard, and the Packages list loads in Accessibility Mode.
  • Options button on the Tools ribbon – open the Options dialog straight from the Tools tab.
  • Math library – improvements to sum, limit, factor, radnormal, signum, is, and the Units and GroupTheory packages.
  • MapleSim – supports the latest version of MapleSim (2026.2).


Getting the Update

From the Tools menu in Maple 2026, select Check for Updates, and follow the instructions.

If that option is dimmed, then Check for Updates is not enabled. Instead, you can download the update by clicking on the link below.
