Add or Change 3-D Plot Glossiness

•

The Glossiness menu item in the context panel specifies the glossiness of a plotted surface. The glossiness value controls the amount of light reflected from the surface.

•

Reflections can be rendered only if point light sources are enabled. Either one of the built-in light models or a user specified light model with at least one light source must be enabled, using the lightmodel or light options or the Lighting menu options.

To add glossiness to a 3-D plot:

1.

Click the plot to select it.

2.

Ensure that the plot is using a light scheme. See Change Lighting.

3.

From the context panel, select Glossiness. The Glossiness dialog opens.

4.

Move the slider to select from Matte or Glossy finish.
