Matlab

 getvar
get a numerical array or matrix in an open MATLAB(R) session

 Calling Sequence getvar(X)

Parameters

 X - string naming the MATLAB® variable

Description

 • The command getvar gets the value of the MATLAB® variable X.
 • The variable X must be a MatlabMatrix.
 • Executing the getvar command returns a Matrix, Vector or constant.

Examples

 > $\mathrm{with}\left(\mathrm{Matlab}\right):$
 > $\mathrm{maplematrix_a}≔\mathrm{LinearAlgebra}\left[\mathrm{RandomMatrix}\right]\left(16\right):$
 > $\mathrm{Matlab}\left[\mathrm{setvar}\right]\left("matlabmatrix_a",\mathrm{maplematrix_a}\right):$

The matrix can be manipulated and reassigned in MATLAB®, and the result can be transferred back to Maple.

 > $\mathrm{Matlab}\left[\mathrm{evalM}\right]\left("result = condest\left(matlabmatrix_a\right)"\right)$
 > $\mathrm{Matlab}\left[\mathrm{getvar}\right]\left("result"\right)$
