Hall Sensor

Hall-effect Sensor Description The Hall Sensor component is a high-level model of a Hall-effect sensor used to monitor the shaft position of a motor. It multiplies the shaft angle by the number of pole-pairs, $p$ to obtain the electrical angle and adds a correction term, the initial angle of the flange, ${\mathrm{\phi }}_{0}$. Shaft position ${\mathrm{\phi }}_{0}$ should correspond to maximum flux linkage of phase 1. The output is a piecewise-continuous signal with value between 0 and $2\mathrm{\pi }$. Equations $\left\{\left({\mathrm{\phi }}_{\mathrm{support}}=0;¬\mathrm{useSupport}\right)$ $y=\mathrm{rem}\left(p\cdot \left({\mathrm{\phi }}_{\mathrm{flange}}-{\mathrm{\phi }}_{\mathrm{support}}-{\mathrm{\phi }}_{0}\right),2\mathrm{\pi }\right)$ ${\mathrm{\tau }}_{\mathrm{flange}}=0$ Connections
