Rheostat which is shorted after a given time.

Modelica Standard Library

	Description
	The Switched Rheostat component models a switched rheostat; it is used for starting an asynchronous induction motor with a slip-ring rotor. The external rotor resistance $R_{start}$ is shorted at time $t_{start}$ .
