remove multiple adjacent white space characters in a string
remove all white space characters in a string
The Squeeze(s) function removes extra white space from string s. As a result, all consecutive sequences of white space characters are replaced with a single space character.
The DeleteSpace(s) function removes all white space from the string s.
This function is part of the StringTools package, and so it can be used in the form Squeeze(..) only after executing the command with(StringTools). However, it can always be accessed through the long form of the command by using the form StringTools[Squeeze](..).
All of the StringTools package commands treat strings as (null-terminated) sequences of 8-bit (ASCII) characters. Thus, there is no support for multibyte character encodings, such as unicode encodings.
